This was the best trip out family has ever taken. We made a ton of memories. Memories that will last forever! This was the best last minute decision trip. We debated and made plans to go and then decided to cancel because I thought Alice was just too young to deal with for the week that we would be on the go the entire week. Several weeks later we thought lets just do it. It had always been Marks dream to take his children to Disney. He had gone many times with his family as a child and teen and had always talked of taking his children even long before we had kids. We even took our honeymoon to Disney World. It was a trip that ended up being well worth it. We had a ton of fun and the kids still talk about it today. Today as in me writing this post a long 6 months later. They see a disney commercial and go nuts and are always asking when are we going back?
Little did we know that cancer would take our Mark from this world just a short 2 months after we would return. He walked the entire week there and was totally fine and as soon as we would return his back started to hurt him. After suffering with this back pain for many weeks we found out that the cancer had spread to his spine and was moving very fast.
Thank you God for sending us on this last minute trip as a family.
