Wells is 3 years old today, December 2.
I simply cannot believe how the past 3 years have passed in the blink of an eye. Literally it just seems like we waited all day long to get to see him on December 3, 2008. What a day filled with so many emotions and hours upon hours of waiting for him to be placed in our arms.
Wells picked his "theme" for his birthday this year and low and behold he picked Dora. Dora is his favorite show of all times. It is pretty much all he watches when he gets to watch TV. Besides a little bit of Toy Story lately as well.
His party at daycare was filled with Dora cupcakes along with Dora blow horns and they were a huge success. All of the kids knew about Dora and Boots. They even had Dora and Boots rings that were on top of the cupcakes.
For dinner we took Wells to Red Robin because he loves the balloons there and then to Jerry's Snow Cones for Ice Cream. When we got home he open up his present.
We had a good day celebrating Wells turning 3 years old. He waited for this day for months. When we would ask him when his birthday was he always knew and would say Deceeeeember 2nd.
Yes, thats how he said it.
