Labor Day Weekend we decided to get away and head to Nashville, TN. No plans of what we were going to do but we just went anyway. We checked in the hotel and then decided to head out. We headed to downtown Franklin to do a little looking around and stumbled upon a festival of and they had a petting zoo set up and lots of blow up things for the kids to play on. We feed the animals and Wells went down the slide a few times. He got all the way but 3 stairs from the top all by himself and then decided he was scared and started back down the steps. The guy working helped him back up the stairs and down Wells came on the slide. Of course he wanted to go again and again and did this all by himself the next time. He is a pretty fearless kid to say the least. Then we ate pizza at Mellow Mushroom and headed back to the hotel so Wells could do a little bit of swimming. He did not want to leave the pool. Woke up the next morning to go shopping at Opry Mills and have lunch at Rain Forest Cafe' to only find out that it was still closed from the flood in May 2010. I was pretty surprised it was still closed and not due to open back up until Spring of 2012. So Wells played at Bass Pro Shop for a while and we made the drive back home to Memphis.
