Orange Beach, Al August 15-22, 2009

What an incredible trip to the beach we had this year! Who would have thought that only a year ago we were searching the internet out to find an adoption agency to use to find our sweet angel and he is already almost 9 months old. I still just cannot believe that we already have our son in our home.

This year we went with Nana, Aunt Jacque & Whitt to Orange Beach, AL. Usually we travel to Destin, FL every summer for our beach fix. We thought we would try something different and stay at a new condo together in the same unit. We found a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom beautiful condo at the Phoenix West on the 21st floor overlooking the beach. This place came equiped with everything that you would ever need or want for that matter at the beach. There was even a Lazy River that we spent many hours floating down the river on that also had a water slide on one end, an indoor swimming pool and outdoor pool, a kiddy pool and hot tubs. Oh yeah and even a beach! We cannot to visit this place again.

Wells loved the sand on the beach and floating the Lazy River. We saw a huge sting ray and even a shark swimming close by. Well we were on the 21st floor when we saw the shark swimming near a man in the water. The shark looks kind of small in the photos but so does the man he was swimming around. Remember we were far away on our balcony. Well first trip to the beach will always be remembered on this family vacation.
